How long does a custom jewellery order take to handcraft?

It can depend on the complexity of the piece, but generally it is 6-8 weeks from design approval for all custom-made pieces. I will always keep you updated on timelines so there are no surprises.

Where are is the Ellen Johnston workshop located?

About 10 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD, the address is sent on confirmation of our appointment.

How can I find out her finger size?

If your partner has a ring, place it on a ruler to measure the internal diameter of the ring. Make sure it’s a ring she wears on her ring finger.

I don’t live in Brisbane, can I work with you over phone/email to have a piece designed?

We work with many clients around Australia, working together over phone and email is no problem!

Can I use my own stones or jewellery?

Yes, repurposing sentimental stones and gold is one of my favourite things to do. We’ll assess their condition and suitability before work begins with them.

What materials do you work with?

We work primarily with solid gold (Yellow,white and rose), platinum, and natural gemstones, including diamonds, sapphires, tourmaline garnets, spinels and more. Ethical sourcing is a priority; we always aim to work with traceable, responsibly mined materials.
